    This place packs a punch.
Smaller than most, no drive-thru, but who cares?
If you get made to order food that's hot and friendly and patient service, then it's all worth it.

Had a great experience here.  Patient manager took my order and food came out in a reasonable time.  She game me a sample of the boneless wings and I ordered an extra meal because of how good it was.

Can't wait to try the other items.
When you can find a place that everyone in your family likes, well, you got a winner.

    Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Updating my review. So disappointed the last time I was there in April. I usually get chicken tenders a la carte because I don't like their sides. After I ordered the 10 piece box which was $13.99, the cashier asked if I wanted to "make it a meal". I had a hankerin' for their biscuits, and added some mashed potatoes (no gravy) and a soda. Later, after I checked my receipt I discovered that "making it a meal" added $11.00 to  my bill. Of course I should have read my total before signing the card receipt. $11 is way too much to add for some biscuits and mashed potatoes!!

I like their tenders but I won't be talked into "making it a meal" ever again!!

I am a 33 yo man and this was my first time to Popeye's. All the food was very delicious! And extremely, reasonably priced. My girlfriend and I split a $10 special deal they had, and are both full off it. Christina was very friendly and gave excellent customer service, and Silas was very attentive to us while he was also busy preparing food. I really like Chick-fil-A but just told my gf I like Popeye's even better :D a big difference between the two's structure is Chick-fil-A controls the drink station and you have to wait in line for refills and have standard options only- Popeye's has one of the newer Coca-Cola drink machines that has over 100 different options, a HUGE bonus for Popeye's! Pleasant environment, interior design and decor, and low but hearable music playing.

Poor service. Unhelpful staff. Walked in and tried to order and was told they were out of chicken by the staff member pointing to a piece of paper on the wall that says sorry no chicken. Not even capable of talking just pointing. I was here once and the food was bad, so I thought I would give it another try but didn't make it that far. Probably for the best. I would say you have a better bet holding out for chic-Fil-a in Santa Maria.

My son got a spicy two piece combo. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It wasn't overly spicy but had some bite.

The fries strangely enough was the best part of the combo. They were just the right amount of crispy and light and fluffy inside. Try dipping them in some buffalo sauce and you got something special going on there.

The biscuit was buttery and was exactly what I expected. A little hard on the outside but still satisfying for that biscuit craving.

Overall, the meal is affordable and it hit the spot. Good thing the boy has to go to basketball practice. He's got about 1800 calories to burn off with this option.

For me this is not a healthy option to eat here often, but when you craving the good piece of fried chicken, this place will do!

    Cheers!
